According to Shehnaaz Gill, people who troll her or create shocking headlines about her are primarily trying to attract as much public attention as possible and generate views.
The Need for Views
The actress said she understands the intentions of those who publish negative or sensational stories about her because they need views to bring their content to the attention of the public.
According to her, it can be difficult to attract people’s attention if a headline does not contain something negative, surprising or attention-grabbing. As a result, even a minor remark by her sometimes becomes a headline.
Even a Slip of the Tongue Becomes News
Shehnaaz Gill said jokingly that if she accidentally says something during a conversation that later becomes a news headline, she does not get upset. Instead, she hopes that at least the people concerned will receive some views because of her.
She said that if something she says benefits another person or organisation, she considers that a positive aspect as well.

The actress said with a laugh that she has made many positive statements, but perhaps those remarks have not benefited anyone as much as one of her spontaneous comments or a statement presented in a controversial manner might.
