The Nation Should Be United Or Else Be Prepared For A Situation Like Gaza And Kashmir, Khawaja Asif

The True Post (Web News) Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that if the Islamic world fails to unite, the entire Ummah may face a situation similar to that of the oppressed in Gaza and occupied Kashmir.

He stressed that there will be no benefit in protecting the interests of their respective states alone, but when the time comes, each country will get into trouble one after another. Khawaja Asif, while talking to the media in Sialkot, said that today is the birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal and it is the responsibility of the nation to keep Iqbal’s words and message alive, but unfortunately the Ummah has forgotten Iqbal’s message. He said that the Ummah seems to have lost its way at this time and wherever oppression is taking place from Gaza to Kashmir, Muslim countries should unite and become the voice of the oppressed. (The audio/visual words themselves reflect the bitterness of the present times).
The Defense Minister specifically said that if Islamic countries do not come on a platform to address the atrocities being committed against the oppressed children of Gaza and the oppression being inflicted on the Kashmiri people around the world, this trend will continue and ultimately every state will have to suffer. He has also suggested convening an IOC meeting or emergency session for an active and coordinated strategy.
Khawaja Asif also said that despite some Muslim countries having military capabilities, they are unable to take effective action due to lack of unity and common will. He said that regional security is not possible without moral and political solidarity. He appealed to the international community, especially Islamic countries, to adopt a common front so that the oppressed can be helped and a coordinated response can be given against the powerful parties.
During these statements, the Defense Minister also appealed to the people to raise their voices for the oppressed and stand in solidarity with each other. He also prayed that Allah Almighty will give us the courage and strength to help the oppressed brothers and sisters and have the courage to raise their voices in their favor. In government circles, this statement of Khawaja Asif is being considered important in terms of foreign policy and regional political strategy, while according to critics, there is a need for concrete planning and further activation of international relations for practical measures and diplomatic solidarity.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif has previously expressed Pakistan’s solidarity on the issue of Palestine and Kashmir on several occasions and has been emphasizing the need for a joint strategy of Muslim countries at international forums. After these statements, the important question is whether any such immediate and effective joint initiative will be able to emerge in the Muslim world or not — because according to the Defense Minister’s warning, if unity is not achieved now, everyone may have to bear the consequences.
