The True Post(Web News) Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that under the 5-year plan, the country’s growth rate will be increased to 6 percent by 2029.
At the ceremony of the five-year plan and monthly growth update, Ahsan Iqbal, while holding a press conference with Chief Economist Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, said that the government has decided to increase the country’s growth rate to 6 percent by 2029. According to Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, the size of the country’s economy will reach $600 billion in the next 5 years. By 2029, the federal development budget will reach Rs1700 billion, while the provincial development budget will reach Rs2338 billion. Ahsan Iqbal said that PTI founder Imran Khan will establish a Danish University in Islamabad with 190 million pounds. During the press conference, Ahsan Iqbal said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government has approved the establishment of a Danish University with the amount of 190 million pounds received from the National Crime Agency of Britain during the tenure of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
