Uk Arrests More Than 41 People Supporting Palestine Action Group

The True Post  (Web News) Police in the United Kingdom have arrested more than 41 people in Parliament Square on charges of supporting the Palestine Action Group.

Those arrested include women, senior citizens and students. According to British media, the British government has already outlawed the Palestine Action Group and those who support it can be sentenced to up to 14 years in prison. Police say the action was taken due to security concerns and illegal assembly, but the protesters have claimed that they are protesting peacefully and quietly. According to reports, 29 people were detained last week on similar charges. The protesters demonstrated outside the buildings of British arms companies, which the protesters have accused of war crimes. In addition to London, demonstrations in support of Palestine were also held in Manchester, Cardiff and Northern Ireland. The protesters say they are raising their voices against human rights violations around the world, especially the ongoing situation in Gaza.
