Two Injured in Traffic Accident on Gardiner Expressway

Two people were injured in the accident, who were admitted to the hospital. Their injuries are serious but not life-threatening. According to information, at about 9:30 a.m., two to four vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the Gardner Expressway near Bay Street and Scotiabank Arena.
After the collision, a small car caught fire and quickly burned to the ground. According to the Toronto Fire Service, the driver of the car was able to get out of the car in time. Firefighting teams that arrived at the scene quickly brought the fire under control.
