Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has begun shooting for the latest season of the popular Indian reality television show Bigg Boss 20, with his first look for the grand premiere already attracting significant attention from fans.
Photos and videos from the show’s set show Salman Khan in his familiar stylish and commanding persona. The actor was seen wearing a cowboy hat, half jacket, T-shirt and jeans while shooting for the upcoming season.
Salman also posed for cameras during the shoot and interacted with photographers present at the location.
The videos emerging from the set show the same confident personality that has helped make Salman one of the most recognisable hosts of Bigg Boss over the years. His latest look has further increased anticipation among viewers ahead of the new season.
Glimpses of the new Bigg Boss house
Meanwhile, glimpses of the new Bigg Boss 20 house have also been released, with its unusual design attracting considerable attention on social media.
The new house combines modern design elements with a fictional and imaginative theme. Several parts of the set have reportedly been inspired by the famous fantasy story Alice in Wonderland, giving the house a more colourful and unconventional appearance compared with previous seasons.
Different areas of the house have been designed in distinctive ways for the contestants.
The unusual design is intended not only to make the show visually appealing but also to provide an interesting environment for the contestants’ activities throughout the season.
Giant teapot and hot-air balloon
The new Bigg Boss 20 house features several elements that are far removed from conventional residential design.
A shark-themed swimming pool has reportedly been created inside the house, while a giant pink teapot has been installed as one of its most distinctive features.
The oversized teapot is not merely decorative. It has been designed in the form of a sofa so that contestants can also sit inside it.
A hot-air balloon has similarly been incorporated as a seating area. Both features appear to form part of the fantasy world inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
The house also includes two secret rooms, which could potentially be used for special tasks, surprises or other activities during the season.
104 cameras to monitor contestants
As with previous seasons, the contestants will remain under continuous surveillance throughout their stay in the Bigg Boss house.
A total of 104 cameras have reportedly been installed inside the new house to record the contestants’ activities around the clock.
The basic concept of Bigg Boss revolves around contestants living together under constant observation while dealing with different situations, tasks, relationships and conflicts.
The extensive camera network is therefore a crucial part of the show’s production, allowing the contestants’ daily activities to be recorded and later presented through different episodes.
Possible contestants
Several names have already emerged in reports concerning the possible contestants for the new season.
According to reports, Bigg Boss 20 could feature television actors, reality television personalities, social media creators and performers from regional entertainment industries.
Although the complete list of contestants has not been officially confirmed, the names of several well-known personalities have been circulating.
Among the reported potential contestants are reality television personality Kushal Tandon, also known as Gullu, Qazi Touqeer and rapper Young DSA, who is also known as Yeda Young.
Television actors Mahi Vij, Khushi Dubey and Aman Gandhi have also been mentioned as possible participants.
More entertainment personalities in the race
There are also reports that several personalities from regional entertainment industries could join the new season.
Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey is among the names reportedly being considered. She is a prominent figure in the Bhojpuri film industry.
Other names reportedly circulating include Geeta Basra, Aditi Singh, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan, Rohid Khan, Rahya Aher, Luv Gill and Riti Tiwari.
However, the participation of these personalities will only be confirmed once the show’s makers make an official announcement.
Every year, the potential contestant list becomes a major talking point among Bigg Boss viewers, with speculation spreading widely across social media before the official lineup is revealed.
